Weird film with a strange story.

Warning: Spoilers
A weird film with a strange story set in a dystopian world. Not everyone can enjoy this film, some of them die out through half way. But, for those who are thirsty for variety film making can make a go.

Uniquely enjoyable

Uniquely enjoyable.

'Air Conditioner' isn't anything special per se, though it does have a really neat and somewhat strange vibe throughout which makes it a surprisingly pleasant watch - at under 1hr 15mins, you can't really go wrong there either. The music is this 2020 film's best feature; the score is excellent. José Kiteculo and Filomena Manuel are a fine pairing, to boot.

Just ridiculous!!!!

I have never seen such a ridiculous movie before in my life. In fact, even calling it a movie would be an insult to real cinema. All other details, including the script, were ignored due to the concern of too much cinematography. The "leading role" could have been played by anyone. He does neither contributs to the story nor to the movie. But he is gawking constantly. I really do not understand the logic behind such "movies". No message, no single take away. Just one non-sense after another. I am sure Africa is rich of so many really interesting stories. But, is this you can offer the best out of it? Like really? Waste of time. Just stay away.

Could this be the best film I watched in 2020? Most certainly!

I'm amazed at the masterfulness of this feature debut. It's not slow, yet not too fast paced, it's got its social commentary, yet leaves enough air for magic and humour. And last but not least - it's exact length as not to burden the plot with directorial whimsies.
