Trivia:

In the original pilot that was unaired, Phoebe was played by actress Lori Rom. After Lori left the project for personal reasons Alyssa Milano was re cast as Phoebe and all of the shots that stared Phoebe were re shot. Many of the shots from the pilot that did go to air were from the unaired pilot - these shots only featured Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs. Shots with Alyssa or shots with all three actresses were re shot.

Well, to start off, the episode storyline was exactly the same. I don't agree with people who say that Lori Rom didn't make a good Phoebe. I'm sure that if Alyssa Milano had been in the Unaired Pilot, people would criticise her and think that Lori Rom was better. Personally, I liked them both. I've grown attached to Alyssa Milano, as has everyone. I mean, she played Phoebe for 8 years- that's a long time. A plus side about Alyssa as Phoebe in the first episode though was that she had great enthusiasm, whereas I don't think Lori had. I loved Piper in this episode, she is great in every episode. I actually thought Prue and Lori Rom as Phoebe had more on screen chemistry than Alyssa. Andy was awful in this episode, I just couldn't even describe the differences between him and Ted King. Darryl Morris was played by the same actor i think, even though I can't actually remember seeing him.

Anyway, my opinion is that this one isn't as good as the other one, but it's definitely still worth watching!
