I enjoyed watching the movie. Good actors and very emotional movie. But when it ended I thought this cant be the end! Sucha depressing meaningless ending which i dont understand.

Depressing from start to end !! Pointless and Vague to the point I couldn't understand any idea behind the movie !! Sorry but one of the worst movies I've ever watched !!

Moving from country to metropolis... check Drunk father, suffering mother... check Rich boy, poor girl... check Sad music during dialogs... check Poor acting... check Most of Turkish TV shows cover these features. This one tries to supriese audience with a twist but that does not change this is a poor cliche movie.

It is sadness without a goal. The mother acted in a great way, but what is the purpose of making the daughter sick and to have its end open?

Wonderful movie. Great action from the mom and the daughter. Words cannot describe how beautiful this movie is. Although I wish the ending was more clear as to if she died or not. But nothing the less BEATIFUL.

The plot has no goal. No clearly recognizable topic. Especially at the end, you remark there is no sense because it's not realistic. The only good things are the acting especially of sumru yavrucuk and that there is no unnecessary subplot

Complete frustration. Delicate casting but limp screenplay with agitating cliche cinematography. Bucket flows of emotional exploited motherly DNA. Conflicting plans, weak storytelling. It is wonder when a new generation lead a nice way of storytelling.

Very good and so meaningful. Always 10/10 for this movie. Don't believe bad comments about this movie!!!

My mum devoted her life for me and for my other siblings. That's so sad but I also did same mistakes like Nazli before alot. I feel so sorry about it now. When I watched this movie I remembered about my childhood how my mum's cared for us and how she was proud when I also entered and studied abroad. I gave 10/10 for this movie. I want to thank for creators of this movie and my special thanks for actors and actresses.

I have seen Özge playing in romantic comedy and now I see her in a drama..she is really good actress!!!

The movie is very depressing sad and weird. It's a literal waste of 2 hours of valuable time if you could think of anything and everything that would be considered depressing and unrealistically dramatic And sad you'll find it in the movie. I skipped through the movie hoping to find a proper climax but the movie didn't have a strong story to begin with. Anyway long story short don't watch this cause it's a waste of time and you'll feel like hell during and after watching it.

Amazing mother daughter story, only the ending is not that good, I preferred a happy ending not sad.

This movie is a must watch movie.

This movie demands a serious watch, this is not a saccharine flick to simply pass some idle time. It is a coming-of-age story of a young lady in the Turkish countryside. The title character's father is almost absent leading her mother to fill the void, which the latter attempts to do to the best of her ability. Unfortunately, the daughter feels ashamed and embarrassed of her simple bucolic mom and yearns for a chance to get out through education. Later on, having matured and passed a few traditional social adulthood markers and more than her fair share of tragedy she starts to introspect on her previous conduct.

I found the movie to be extremely well-acted, so much so that I felt like I was watching real-life playing out in front of me and not a motion picture. Honestly, I have rarely cried as much as I did watching this movie. The mark of a good film is when it stays with you long after the last credits roll away, and the mark of a truly great film is when it makes you question your own life choices and leaves you with an inkling of knowledge to apply to your own life. This film fulfilled this purpose for me. It's worth the watch if you are in the state of mind to absorb a serious study of the human condition. Happy Viewing!
