I absolutely love this episode, and it is one of my favourites, Not going out did it years later, but The Harpers for there first as they took on Anne Robinson and The Weakest Link.

I adored both shows, so the crossover worked beautifully for m, Anne Robinson was perfectly in character, but so were the whole Harper family. Great one liners, and a very funny revelation about Susan.

Some very funny scenes, Abi's interview, Anne flirting with Alfie and of course Ben's distraction.

A class act, 10/10.

This is one of my favourite My Family episodes, thanks to the bombshell from Susan's mum Grace (My Family is the only thing I've seen Rosemary Leach in), I'm nearly in tears every time I watch it, and also with two corkers that Janey (Daniela Denby-Ashe) comes out with, the first one being : I'm glad that we're on national television and it's not Crimewatch 🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, and the second one being : it least it didn't come out on national television Gran, oh what it just did 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

A dud episode

Ed Dyson's first script as a writer on the show is a dud.

The premise is good - the Harper's going on 'The Weakest Link' (probably making use of the fact that 'My Family' and the long running game show were filmed at the same location) but is essentially a one joke idea that doesn't really go anywhere.

The characters don't really act like themselves (since when was Janey that dim? Would Susan really have had a Vegas wedding?) and there's some laboured jokes along the way.

Not the best episode overall.
