Trivia:
The song "Dard-E-Disco" was originally to be shot with only Shakira after Farah Khan choreographed her performance at the 2006 VMA's, but her upcoming concert tours rendered her unavailable. Then Farah Khan recalled a promise 'Shah Rukh Khan' made to her when shooting the song "Jiye Jale" in Dil Se.. (1998): that if he would show his abs for another film, it would be for a film she was directing. She called upon his promise, and he shot for the song.

This is the the good, the big Bellwood war machine! Let us look at this film as we look " I hate the actors ", " The Player " or " Big tiredness " (Michel Blanc's). A film on the crushing industry of the cinema, here The cinema of Mumbai. It was necessary that somebody makes it, Farah Khan, Géniale Farah Khan, made it! We, French people, search a hidden sense from things, here, it is not necessary. Not because it is not subtle, but because to haunt the criticism of middle are big: libidinous producer, incompetent starlets, actor without brain, , films tight budgets, big benefits " The director " Farah one even, makes fun of her even as film director. She tries to take a piece of costume of a pseudo star of the song of 1970s, she arrives late at the red carpet of promo of her own film. She is the Indian "Alain Chabat". Forgiveness Farah! But it would be better to say that "Alain Chabat" is the French Farah Khan.
Let us say that Farah has already made the worst with Main Hoon Na (2004) where the right Hindi is broadly attacked with a lot of humor. With humor it trickles down in every minute. Principal actor you, the big, the one, the only, the king Shah Rukh Khan his spouse is productive of the film, reason for which undoubtedly there are lot of sequence with him - is forty-year, so cute, but forty really. He introduces us a torso of first young person to make turn pale generations going up, and it is in excess, such as Farah is able of showing it, as created gap and irony of the sequence of dance Dard-e-Disco. Also I recommend the film fare sequence where numerous actors, stars not questioned by the millions of audience of the films of industry of Bombay, take part in the game of the gibe of their fame, as seldom an actor is able of making it. We are not capable of realizing to what extent references to the Indian cinema are referred. But one is recognized even by a french : in the mouth of one of those which plays a movie director: " I would make an angle as Satyagit Ray an angle as Bimal Roy and an angle as Guru Dutt ", " happy you to make your own angle ! ", answers him fop producer come to shake the main actress who makes a last minute fad. (I think that she claims his wage! She has a brass neck!). Il like this film and also I love Farah!!!
