The Blue Fernanda tells the story of a family that, after suffering violence in Mexico, decides to cross the U.S. border looking for freedom and ways to protect their younger daughter, Itzel. In an attempt to do so, a tragic accident gets them trapped in the truck in the U.S. Border impound lot. Suddenly their freedom depends on Suzanne, a CBP agent who helps them escape a seemingly inevitable outcome.
