Carl, feeling his hands are tied from the standpoint of the firm, re-enforces his view to Shirley. Among the things he sees are clients who want to sue for various reasons: a woman who was in a secret relationship with her pastor, a woman who wants to sue the crematorium that returned a glass ring in place of her mother's ashes, and the defense of a man being sued for contracting AIDS, but has yet to die.
