I enjoyed this one. I felt like it had a lot of personality, from Ichi's character as a relatable/funny yet narcissistic/paranoid young kid, the interludes with dream sequences, and the surreal animation style during the more tense moments, it really drew me in! I really like when animation can tranform itself seamlessly between different styles. I did feel bad for that poor kid who's just trying to be nice to Ichi, not sure why he got the bat from that slugger guy when the guy from the first episode was much nastier and actually sort of deserved it as opposed to this kid. I'm guessing maybe it has to do with what each individual person is feeling pressured by? Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing where this show goes, as I really have no clue where it's headed.

I hate Ichi, but I don't like the fact he's being shunned because of something he didn't do.
On the other hand, feel bad for the other boy. He just wanted to get along with everyone.
