Several times the Mythbusters would do police-involved myths. I have a problem with them... the lie detector, the breathalizer, the speed camera, and the radar speed checking.
Do you REALLY, HONESTLY believe the police would participate in something that would show how to defeat their techniques?
NO! Of course not! I just skip episodes like this when I'm watching the series, because what's the point of watching something when you KNOW what the outcome is going to be?
These kinds of episodes are as believable as the "oogie boogie" myths, like pyramid power, the plants emitting some sort of emotion, etc.
I love the show, don't get me wrong, but I think they should have thought better of these kinds of myths.
