Like the previous five parts, this movie, too, was released in two versions: An r-rated and unrated version. The unrated version contains slightly more nudity and sex scenes. A few of the unrated scenes are alternate shots as well as some complete new scenes. After the endcredits the unrated version shows a new scene where Edgar is sitting in the Silver Dollar and is sniffing at the cap of a sheep costume when a stripper walks past him. It is possible that Beta Delta Xi is based on the now defunct Lambda chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Michigan, however nothing released by the filmmakers reflects this.
