Ada receives a letter from Osbert's cousin, it details Osbert's demand for money, and complains about his poor treatment by his bossy landlady. Incensed by Osbert's devious behaviour, Ada insists Osbert gets a job.
This has to be one of the zaniest episodes to date, somehow this one feels a little ahead of its time, the sort of plotline that would come many years later, does it work? Sort of.
Seeing a work obsessed Osbert was amusing, and it was always going to interesting to learn if he'd turned over a new leaf or not, surely we all knew the answer.
Favourite scene had to be a hysterical Ada, that's the first time we've seen the beloved battleaxe pushed to breaking point.
6/10.
