Hetty is enjoying a coffee with The Larkins, when a man in a bowler hat wants to speak to her, she reluctantly hears his words, words of a sizeable inheritance, to the sun of £6500, Alf and Ada are worried that windfall will be lost to Osbert.
Quite an enjoyable episode, one that allowed everyone to dress up smartly, and have some fun playing the rags to riches characters.
It was fun to see the gang in an 'unknown' situation, it worked well, and showed they were keen to change things up in this final run.
Nice, finally to see a Hetty storyline, too often she's sidelined as the bit part player, Barbara Mitchell really was quite delightful here, and she looked rather nice all glammed up.
One thing though, what has happened to Betty's family, her husband and daughter have both vanished without trace, at least the missing Larkins had some sort of an explanation.
Favourite scene, Hetty living it up at the club.
7/10.
