  [Zenigata dismounts]

  [He pulls on the horse's leg]

  [as Zenigata strains to pull the horse forward, his gun and handcuffs fall out of his pocket] 

  Inspector Koichi Zenigata : What's going on now?

  [He tugs at his gun, but it seems to be frozen to the ground] 

  Inspector Koichi Zenigata : I can't pick up my gun.

  Duke Weather : What's the matter?

  Inspector Koichi Zenigata : It seems to be stuck to the ground.

  Duke Weather : I see. It's a magnet. It's holding Red Arrow's horse shoes.

  [Lupin's laughter is heard from the forest] 

  Arsène Lupin III : Exactly. Underneath the ground, a very powerful magnet is buried. Only the remote can stop this magnet. And last night I put iron powder on your shoes and on your clothes. So, shall I try?

  [He pushes a button. The Duke begins to buckle under the weight of his clothes. One of his boots falls off. He relaxes. It seems that Lupin has turned the power off]

  Inspector Koichi Zenigata : Why, you little...

  [He starts forward, but his legs are frozen to the ground]
