  Inspector Kouichi Zenigata : You got someone to kill me, then framed Lupin and moreover, you killed my murderer... What is this all about?

  Arsène Lupin III : But you're really daring to kill Pops. No one really did that before. Pops was shot with a sleeping dart.

  Goemon Ishikawa XIII : I feel sorry for the officer you killed. His parents are still alive.

  Inspector Kouichi Zenigata : [tearing up]  He was my shooting teacher at ICPO! A very kind officer! That's why he used the sleeping dart on me.

  [He wipes away his tears] 

  Inspector Kouichi Zenigata : Truffaut! I won't forgive you!

• Inspector Kouichi Zenigata : Lupin... thank you.

• [the tranquilizer bullet wears off and Zenigata wakes up underwater. He surfaces. Lupin, Jigen and Goemon find him in the river, alive and well] 

  Arsène Lupin III : Good grief, Pops is alive!

  Inspector Kouichi Zenigata : Lupin! You're in big trouble!

  Arsène Lupin III : What's going on here?

  Daisuke Jigen : No idea.

  Goemon Ishikawa XIII : [hearing Truffaut's men]  They're coming.

  [the gang jumps into the river. Lupin knocks Zenigata out with a stick as he does so] 

  Arsène Lupin III : You play dead now, Pops.
