Desperate times for James Onedin
daviddjj200412 October 2010
As the title suggests Coffin ships means loss of ship crew & cargo & when this happens to often on route from Liverpool to the shipyards of Belfast no other company will touch them. James is given the opportunity but is warned of the risks by several people however such is his a desperate need for the money it is a risk he has to take, he also wonders if there's more to this whole story other than just old wives tales & superstition ? Meanwhile his personal life seems to be falling apart is he making the same mistakes putting his precious business before everything else. Elsewhere his Brother Robert faces losing his much loved home can he & his wife face the shame of having to move out just as she is enjoying climbing the social ladder it's a desperate race to try & find the money before the bank moves in. Then something totally unexpected happens.
