Worzel and Aunt Sally come across a flyer for a local talent contest. With a grand prize of £10 which they will split evenly. £3 for Wozel and the rest to Aunt Sally.
They spend the rest of the day bickering about their act. At first they try a ventriloquist act with Aunt Sally as the talking dummy.
Later Worzel puts his circus head on. It is made out of swede instead of turnip. The circus head was once Swedish!
On the night both do their acts separately but crash into each other's turns. Aunt Sally does Swan Lake but Worzel butts in.
Later Worzel puts his magic head on and does some conjuring tricks. Only for Aunt Sally to interfere. The audience loves it and they win a prize for the best double act.
The kids dad Mr Peters also wins a prize as the singing cowboy.
A very entertaining episode that plays well with Jon Pertwee's music hall roots. The last scene was very sad as Worzel realises that Aunt Sally has fleeced him.
Mike Berry who plays Mr Peters had several chart hits in the 1960s.
