Prismark108 March 2024
While her father is doing more handyman jobs for Mrs Bloomsbury-Barton. Something to do until he can find a proper job where he would actually get paid.
Worzel tells Sue about human that want to be scarecrows. Worzel takes her to them.
They are anglers who are fishing, standing still and quiet. So an easy mistake to make.
When Sue explains to Worzel what they are doing he. He puts on his 'wangling' head and go fishing at the pond in Mrs Bloomsbury-Barton's estate.
It seems Worzel king of wangling involves bashing for fish.
Unfortunately for Mrs Bloomsbury-Barton, her maid Enid mistakens Worzel for the handyman Mr Peters. So there is big trouble when she asks Worzel to fix the dishwasher.
Not knowing what one is. He thinks the fishtank is the fish washer. Worzel ends up pilfering it.
I was surprised given all the work he has done. The maid does not know who Mr Peters is. Also the policeman has no figured out that Worzel is the most wanted crook in town.
