This was an acclaimed British drama from earlier in 2009.
It deals with junkies in rural England dealing with the death of fellow drug user.
It's sort of like the anti-Trainspotting, the pacing is very, very slow and the tone is very, very glum, I guess trying to reflect the numbness of grief + addiction.
Stylistically maybe close to van Sant's Paranoid Park or Elephant.
There are some interesting patches of film-making in it.
Um I can't say I enjoyed it though, the mood was too oppressive, it needed more light somewhere.
