• Continuity: When Rob is talking to Kate outside of the courthouse, the collar of his jacket changes positions between shots.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Carl and Angie argue, a crew member's light is reflected in the rear of Carl's red car.
  
  
• Errors in geography: When Angie goes into labor, Kate drives her to the hospital. In a long shot, they drive over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge to Camden, NJ. Later, they arrive at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
  
  

• Factual errors: Angie cannot open the door to Kate's "space car," an Audi A6, because it is locked, despite pulling the door handle several times. If an Audi door is locked, the first pull on the handle from inside unlocks the door, and the second pull opens it.
  
  
• Factual errors: When Angie and Kate are driving through Kate's neighborhood, all of the parked cars have front and back license plates. Pennsylvania only requires back license plates.
  
  
• Continuity: When they are test tasting the soups, Barry picks up "c", which is the green pea soup. In the next take, the carrot soup is labeled "c", and "b" is now empty.
  
  
• Continuity: Before Angie arrives at Kate's place to move in, Kate is sitting in bed with the pillows and sheets displaced. At the end of the scene, we see Angie passed out on Kate's completely made bed.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: Kate clearly has a Motorola Razr phone, but every time it rings or receives a text, sounds from a Palm Treo can be heard.
  
  
• Continuity: In the scene where Kate is trying to make Angie take the big orange vitamin, as Kate hands water to Angie, Angie removes the vitamin from her mouth, in the same camera shot, Angie spits out the water (without putting the vitamin back in her mouth) - and as soon as spits the water out she shows the vitamin in her mouth
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Barry names the pea soup "Health Monster" but when Kate tells Angie to eat the soup, she calls it "Monster Health."
  
  
• Factual errors: Carl tells the doorman to start his Suzuki Samurai in Drive, then slam it into Park. That model was never offered with an automatic transmission.
  
  
• Errors in geography: As Kate is driving Angie home, they drive across Ben Franklin Bridge to New Jersey. They later pass a sign for PA Route 51, which is near Pittsburgh.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Kate is giving Angie the health food pill, you can see that Tina Fey accidentally drops the first one so she has to get another one.
  
  
• Factual errors: Angie would never be able to be a surrogate without having a child of her own first. All reputable surrogacy agencies in the US require their surrogates to have had at least one full-term, live birth before becoming a surrogate.
  
  
• Factual errors: Carl's car has a front license plate, and in Pennsylvania cars only have a rear license plate.
  
  
• Continuity: When Kate is looking at places for the new store to be at she goes to "Super Fruity Smoothies". When she goes to order there are paper menus and the top one is uneven with the rest. The shot after next it looks like it was rearranged.
  
  
• Continuity: In the scene where Kate and Angie go clubbing, the shrug sweater over Kate's dress keeps changing position. Her shoulders are visible, then covered by the sweater. This continues throughout the scene, but is especially visible when Angie throws the garbage can on Scott's car.
