"His Name is Mickey too"
Another clever episode from Ozzie Nelson. We find out that Harriet has arranged a blind date for Ricky without asking him first. It is with a girl, Mary Jane, whom he hasn't seen for years and is skeptical about how she looks since she was so skinny when they were little kids. He tries to find a way to get out of the date by telling his mom to inform Mrs. Bradford that he is not feeling well and that he has a book report to finish. Ricky even tries to get his friend, Mickey Darby to take the girl out in his place.
The tables are turned when Ricky meets the girl at the malt shop and finds out how beautiful she is. He then has to unconvince Mickey Darby to take the girl out. When Ricky gets home he finds out that Harriet was successful in getting him out of the blind date. She told Mrs. Bradford that Ricky wasn't feeling well and that he had a book report to finish. She also informed them that Mickey Darby would date Mary Jane.
Hilarity ensues for the rest of the episode as Ricky steals Ozzie's reading glasses to pretend to be Mickey Darby. Overall this was a nice episode.
