A gang of violent robbers are at large in Sun Hill, their activities is the immediate focus of new DI Sally Johnson.
It's another gritty episode, 1994 has truly started with a bang, the last was very gritty, this one is equally gritty, it's nice to see Suzi centre stage for a change.
Things have definitely changed at Sun Hill, roll back a bit, and CID was all guys, and Viv, it now feels very different.
I miss Burnside still, I wasn't a huge fan of Harry Haines, I have a feeling that Sally Johnson is going to be terrific, one episode in, and she's already made an impact, Jaye Griffiths is a terrific actress. She clearly means business, the smiling assassin.
Not sure if anyone else had the same issue, but the sound on the dvd and catch up was pretty muffled throughout, not crystal clear.
9/10.
