fantastic start to the series, 14 September 2006

Ricky Gervais proves yet again that he is television gold. Orlando Bloom, who guest stars, is usually called "bland" by critics, however, he is fantastic at being completely obsessed with his looks and constantly having a pop at Johnny Depp. Keith Chegwin is fantastic as a presenter-turned-actor who shows the "difficult" the transformation is. Shaun Williamson is absolutely amazing. I was so used to seeing him as a pompous, insecure and gullible being in Eastenders and was never sure if his place was in comedy but the straight faces he manages to keep ... there is absolutely no evidence of a twitch of laughter.

Overall, good performances and well developed story lines have made this episode brilliant!!
