June is called to a disturbance, Jason a lad of fifteen, and a windscreen washer is involved in a dispute with a man who refuses to pay for services.
Loxton and Quinnan are trying hard to chase a young couple who are trying it on to get hold of drugs.
Two incredibly gritty stories running side by side here, the young Bonny and Clyde, as well as the tragic mother and son.
I did enjoy this very much, clever storytelling, which really does give an insight into the sign of the times as it were, drugs really an issue in the 90's and becoming even more of an issue with every passing year.
You are left wondering here who exactly is the one in trouble in each of the pairs. You would have thought that June may have been a little more aware of the situation a little sooner..... she is glorious though.
I have to be honest, I find the window washers unbearable on times, you could literally have been through the car wash, and they will try it on, whether you want them washed or not.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, 9/10.
