Monroe and Polly attend the hope of a young couple, who's baby girl has tragically died. Meadows and Tosh interview the parents, and try and understand what happened.
This is definitely on the list of harrowing episodes, it's incredibly sad, it's such a bleak story, but does bring out the best in some of the characters.
First off, Monroe, he's very quickly becoming my favourite character, the way he shows Polly the ropes, he is so caring, bed so considerate, he's about the best. We also get to see a different side of Meadows, the gritty Northerner is better known for his abrasive side, here though, he's got patience, empathy, and a true ability to adapt his style, perhaps the best episode this far for Rouse.
I thought the acting was terrific here, from all parties, the young couple in particular were terrific.
One of those cases where it could either have been a crime, or a simple accident, or something totally unrelated, all in all though, it's a real tragedy.
Sad, 8/10.
