One of the best episodes I remember growing up as a kid during the 90s, and when the Bus overheats so Ms Frizzle and the class (except for Carlos) have to push the bus while on the way to the haunted house. And that giant bedroom with so many beds makes it feel as if it's a hotel resort, but only for the kids to wake up in the middle of the night and explore the house and sounds, until they meet an elderly woman named Professor Cornelia C. Contralto II.
And in the end when the concert is being performed by Ms. Frizzle's class along with Carlos's innovative musical instrument having been remedied by Professor Contralto II, the parents are seen in the crowd, some of them being implied parents to some of the kids. The red-haired woman appears to be Mrs. Terese (Phoebe's mother) whom sadly hasn't appeared in later episodes while her husband Mr. Terese appears on a few later episodes like ("Going Batty" and "Rocks and Rolls") and is blind; of course the red-haired woman however bears a strong resemblance to Phoebe which could more easily make it the latter's mother, had the writers behind the series confirmed it. The woman in the audience whom looks like Wanda is most certainly Wanda's mother Mrs. Li before she was given a haircut in later episodes.
