Military Policeman Sgt. Dakin, teams up with June Ackland to find, and arrest a Gunner who's gone AWOL after assaulting a Superior Officer.
It's very dramatic, and pretty exciting, it's a really high quality episode.
This episode has a real touch of class, is it the script, which is undeniably excellent, the guest cast, or the superb direction from Brian Farnham? It plays out more like a feature length drama, rather than a standard episode of The Bill.
The Agatha Christie fan in me is delighted to see David Beames here, he's great as Dakin. I now also know where I recognise Sergeant Lamont, she was the waitress in A Murder is Announced. A disappointing character so far, hopefully she'll have something more meaty to deal with soon.
Brilliant, 9/10.
