Stupid but hysterical to watch
jacobhenrytucker-129 October 2006
Nikki does a lot more screaming in this reality show far more than she ever did on Big Brother. Seriously though, because I hate her so much so I loved seeing her being miserable. "Princess Nikki" which'll be hitting stores in November will probably struggle in the box office hits, a bit like "Chantelle's Dream Dates" which was a flop selling only 4,500 copies in the first month of sale. I'll be really surprised if there is a season two because I can't see the producers making such a big effort on it and as you can see it is quite a high budget. However on the positive side, it's hysterical and I loved watching Nikki screaming but don't get me wrong she isn't a celebrity at all! She's another chav who thinks she's this A-List superstar. If you're looking for a reality show with screaming and comedy to it, I strongly recommend "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

Another self obsessed wannabe celebrity getting her own show
riley4536 September 2006
Nikki Graham - a self centred, loud mouthed, ignorant arrogant girl who is loved by thousands for her foul mouth, her over the top tantrums and her attention seeking ways. Princess Nikki on E4 shows Nikki doing everyday tasks in hope to get a job. She is extremely rude and very ignorant to hotel manager. She can be very funny without knowing it but her whole attitude is appalling. If she wants a lot of money then she is going the wrong way of dealing with it. She's a spoiled brat with far too much to say and a huge ego and I would be ashamed to call her my daughter.

Sorry to all those Nikki fans..... but she will be a one hit wonder.

It IS entertaining... but this show is incredibly cruel and obnoxious
I have watched this series after Nikki Grahame tragically passed away in April 2021. And having binged them all, I will say it is entertaining. Nikki always was. But I really can't give this show more than a 4.

I think this show is incredibly mean-spirited by its nature. The producers are essentially forcing Nikki to do jobs that they know would cause her the most torment. It basically feels like the so-called "entertainment" of this show is TOTALLY at Nikki's expense. Like, this show is actively trying to torment and humiliate her. "Hey look at the caged monkey who screams and yells and has meltdowns and acts like a 3-year-old in a 24-year-old's body!"

In the 2nd episode there was a brief moment where she actually enjoyed what she was doing (feeding a cow), and I realised that was the best part of the whole series - because it was the only moment where Nikki WASN'T being totally tormented for a cheap laugh by this cruel show.

And not only is this show cruel, it can get INCREDIBLY obnoxious at times. Nikki herself acts like a THREE-YEAR-OLD at times. She constantly downtalks other people and judges them for their professions. And then of course there's all the screaming. Honestly, most of her employers are extremely patient with her. She acts like a total childish diva all the time. Those few minutes in the hotel in the first episode were exceptionally hard to watch as she threw a huge tantrum over her perfectly good hotel room being a "dog kennel" and she was astonishingly rude to the hotel owner.

So yes, whilst this show is entertaining, you also not only want to rip your hair out at Nikki's brattish behaviour, you also feel bad for finding entertainment at watching someone be tormented. The fact there was a seventh episode that was not aired because Nikki actually enjoyed what she was doing says it all really.

wrong-headed concept
caroline_blair_lobster3 February 2007
Take some fairly low-paid workers doing hard but honourable jobs. Then put a spoilt z-list reality TV show girl in and let her scream and howl at how TERRIBLE it all is making her do this stuff. Make sure they know she is earning a great deal more than they are. Show them getting a bit grouchy at this reflection on how they are obliged to live. Tell the z-lister how adorably funny she is to make such a fuss. No. Just no. From a production point of view it had all the signs of a rush-job anyway. There was no character development or attempt to build understanding or relationships in even the minimal way that 'The Good Life' achieved. A poorly conceived project poorly delivered.

shocking

i hate this girl she's so stupid and this is the worst programme ever to have been made. i looked at what else the director had done and it said 'chantelle's dream dates' which if i remember rightly was the other stupid big brother contestant. after a nice polite hotel owner showed her to her room and being so nice and helpful and her saying ' this is the worst hotel in the world' 'do you charge £2.50' and 'is this minus 10 stars?' then having a fit of tears!!! and refusing to stay in a 'dog kennel'. least to say it was a normal bedroom, no perks but clean and livable.

OK so this troll girl who lives in a standard working class estate seems to think she's better than anyone else, refusing to ever have a proper job or accept the fact she's a commoner (i'm a commoner and i know it, i get on with life!!!)

Paris hilton and her ugly friend had to do all those crappy jobs in farms an fast food and all that sort of stuff. they are daughters of multi millionaires, they aren't grasping for cash and are used to a far higher standard of living, at least they had a go and had a laugh.

but the working class British girl strops and squeals her way through everything. even moaning because she was stood outside when it was spitting. might wash away your ugly face girl!!!

so when she squeals her refusal to do every single thing and in cancelling the show through the fear of being humiliated we are incessantly screaming LET HER LEAVE, PLEASE!!!! and slap her while you're at it!!

Why devote a TV show to such a waste of space
conradturner216 September 2006
I didn't watch this year's Big Brother offering, so had absolutely no idea who this Nikki person was. It looks to me as if I might have gotten off lightly there.

Now I guess that the joke could have been on me, it could have all been an act, but somehow I doubt it. What a truly, truly revolting human being she is, a complete waste of space. Self centred, and self obsessed, I can not believe that an adult could behave so childishly, or that a TV company would believe that her behaviour was worth filming and showing to the general public..

I will not be watching any more of this show, one time was more than enough. I would rather gnaw my own arms off.

Princess?...Tantrum Queen more like....
emeraldcitizen4 October 2006
I have just wasted a half an hour of my life, that I can now never recover, watching the antics of that self-centred manipulative little sh*tstorm that is Princess Nikki on More4. Why nobody has put a contract (the Mafia kind) on this five foot nothing whingeing machine is one of life's unfathomable mysteries. It is final and conclusive proof, if proof were needed, that modern civilisation has finally plumbed the levels of decadence that were extant before Rome was finally overwhelmed by the barbarian hordes; Only it is unlikely that we will be lucky enough to have the same outside force to hasten our well deserved end and we will have to wallow in this mire of vapid celebrity the inexorable stinking tide of which that we seem unable to stem and indeed which we seem to positively consume with gusto. I personally look forward to the day when her tantrum reaches such a peak of ire that she spontaneously explodes. I was an avid fan of channel 4 but I must confess to having serious misgivings about where that channel is now heading. I am only glad that Princess Nikki is currently only being shown on Channel 4's illegitimate offspring More4.

This show is wrong
ProfoundRed27 September 2006
I'm not going to go into any details of the show, I would just like to say that It's very worrying that TV has to resort to this to entertain audiences. I haven't watched big brother very much, and therefore give this show and objective point of view. It's main character obviously shows signs of mental health problems. She thinks and acts like a six year old girl, which must result from something during her childhood. I find it disgusting that people watch this for laughs. It's almost like a form of sadism. It's similar to watching physically disabled people put in horrible situations that make them uncomfortable. Nikki is emotionally unstable and throws tantrums like a young girl, which shows she hasn't matured and developed properly. This isn't a "little spin on her character"; she needs help, she doesn't need to be put on a show were people can laugh at her. Personally I feel very sorry for her. And if she is acting sometimes, thats just as immoral!

What can I say!?
shutupspaghetti7 September 2006
I have to give episode 1 an excellent review as I was in it! I work in the Chip Shop starred and Nikki's famous tantrums are all for the cameras! she's actually a really nice girl who genuinely can't understand why everyone's obsessed by her when in her own words 'she just sat in a house for a few weeks'. It was good fun to be a part of it though although i'm not sure how my manager found being portrayed the way she was. Worth a look though.

Not sure whether i'll be watching the rest of the series, it's no fun when you're not seeing yourself! Not that i'm self obsessed but at the end of the day she is just another BB star getting her own one hit wonder TV show.

oh and for all of you that were wondering she didn't stay in the hotel they made you think, she stayed in a 5* hotel in a different town!

princess Nikki i hope there is a new series!!!!
chrisnemi7 September 2006
I watched princess Nikki last night and my husband and I both thought it was hilarious! Nikki is one very unique character she is ruthless, charming hysterical but is also quite sweet at the same time. during one of her jobs she was crying so much her mascara was streaming down her face, she doesn't seem to care what people think of her which is what I love. I was annoyed at the chip shop woman I though she was just plain rude, she told Nikki she thought she was parading around like some celebrity, but she clearly is a celebrity, people should just accept that

I really enjoyed the programme and will be tuning in again next week, Nikki Grahame is comedy gold!!!!

Princess Nikki
denise-22828 September 2006
I've been enjoying Princess Nikki and have watched all four episodes which have been aired. It's entertaining to watch and last night's episode at the kennels and at Britsol Zoo had some classic Nikki one-liners included so showed far more of Nikki's natural flair for fun than previous episodes. My only criticism of the show is that it does seem to have got stuck in the 'poo' theme so I'm thankful not to have smellivision! I didn't realise when I started watching Princss Nikki that I would become something of an expert on excreta so it's educational too! It's a shame the show is scheduled for only six episodes as I feel it warrants longer. I look forward to watching the remaining episodes which hopefully show Princess Nikki in situations which although they may be extreme also have a fun element and make a break away from poo and on to something new.

Thanks

Princess Nikki shows
ebergk20 September 2006
A very entertaining show with the star, Nikki, being her usual funny self. Outspoken and direct. The bad language could be minimized and her attitude to people improved on but she comes as a package deal and well worth the downs for the pleasure of the ups. Please give her more glamorous rolls so we can see the other funny sides of Nikki e.g. when she imitated the tea drinking Suzie in BB. She is also very good with children and children are very entertaining too. Hairdressing, modeling, nursing or a matchmaking company. There is no end to the possibilities, so please keep her on for a very long time and more often than once a week. Congratulations to the Producer and all who saw in Nikki her entertaining qualities.
