The Last Surviving Maurice Chevalier Impression
Prismark105 February 2017
Compo is feeling down as he thinks he has lost his allure with the ladies, the audience might wonder if he ever had it. He goes to the pub to chat up the barmaid, exclaiming here comes trouble and is promptly chased out by the landlord.

Foggy thinks he has the answer to his problems but he needs to first think about it. The answer is, to take part in a television talent show as a Maurice Chevalier impersonator and he gets all dressed up for the part, while all the regulars watch him live on television in Ivy's cafe.

Bill Owen was always in his element doing a little song and dance act in Last of the Summer Wine and he enjoys doing a little turn here but Compo also brings his favourite ferret along who also wants a role in the show. Gorden Kaye turns up as a bewigged television host.
