The relationship between Wray and Ackland is Station gossip, only it comes to the attention of the powers that be.
Ooooh this is excellent, we had a dramatic storyline just prior to this one, and we have another one here straight after. I always thought that the relationship between Ackland and Wray was somewhat out of left field.
They are really freshening things up in this series, first of all Sergeant Peters, and now DCI Wray, it's a bit of a shame, I liked Clive Wood, who's next, and who will replace him?
Delia has been good fun since she joined, she's definitely got some character, poor old Ron. It's poor Inspector Monroe that cops it once again, he's really growing on me as a character.
More politics and power play, excellent again, 9/10.
