In this competition the challenge is to design a gown for Mrs. Universe competition. She chooses 7 designs and 7 of them choose a partner to work with. The work is especially hard for Vincent and Angela who just don't get along. Kayne wins at the end and the one to go home is Malan because his gown loses on both design and execution.
A very exciting episode but at the same time, what a disappointment! I usually agree when the designer of thee least good dress goes home, but at least Malan worked and his design was among top 7. Angela had no clue about gowns, was not selected and was a horrible partner to Vincent. She just told him how bad it is instead of giving ideas, she was not supportive and stabbed him in thee back about his dress on stage before the judges said anything (they actually liked many parts off it). So she should have been out....I just didn't like Jefferey calling her a feminazi. What the hell does it even mean? I will just assume he used it differently than douches today use it as feminism had nothing to do with the story. And I usually like him.
So disappointed in Malan going. Actually at thee casting they kind of presented him as an arrogant guy, but he turned out to be the sweetest human being. He was one I wanted to root for. Well, didn't really damage his career, according to wiki he is one of the top 300 designers in the world, but I wanted to see more of him.
Kayne's dress was a great winner. HE also has experience with gowns and it was a great challenge to win considering that his design was worn to Mrs. Universe competition. I also really liked Laura's gown. I would love to wear it, if I had the body of course.
