Look, let me make it clear. The first few episodes of Zack and Cody were hilarious and fun to watch. Forget the not-so-professional acting of the two lead characters and more concentration of London and Maddie, you'll like this show.
But the main con with this show is that it has adopted a policy of ridiculing the characters always. It isn't good to see the people passing snide comments at each other all the time. After a while, you'll get agitated as all the characters mock each other in the same, monotonous way.
Apart for the last part of the episode, nothing was that different.Moseby, as usual, is shown irritated with Zack and Cody, who as usual, disrupt the hotel. Why can't they just change this trend? Its so unoriginal- they both skate like idiots in the lobby and he gets hold of them and shows his exasperated look.
The first half of the show wasn't funny at all. Plus, borrowing gags from animated shows is so silly (Remembet the ' yell in the vessel scene'. Connect that with Scooby Doo).
The Japanese character doesn't bring any humor to the show. Plus, they have added fake laughter to some jokes that are not at all jokes. The end scene is funny though.
I also felt that they were showing as if the Japanese were stupid people. How can any person dance with joy at nursery rhymes? I mean, for example, if an American singer visits India and sings in front of a large audience ' Twinkle twinkle little star', everyone would realise, wont they?
The Maddy-London side story also has some humor. The problem is- it too has jokes that have been seen a number of times before. For example, the jokes like a person telling something to another person and doing the exact opposite the very next moment. Got the hint?
People can be obnoxious but here, mirrors are obnoxious. The idea of the talking mirror is just so silly. Overall, its just below average episode. 4 out of 10.
