Any "Star Wars" fan planning a trip to Tokyo soon should look no further than Warwick Davis' Twitter account for advice. He served it up to his "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" co-star Tom Felton today, and you will definitely want to read his recommendation.
In addition to travel advice, Twitter-Wood has proven itself once again to be a great source of Monday celebrity micro-reviews. The most popular film to see in the feed this weekend was definitely "Funny People," and I've rounded up commentary by Shannon Elizabeth, Jon Favreau, and a couple of others who sounded of today. All of those and one of Emmy Rossum's simple daily frustrations are assembled for you below. But first, for the consideration of Twitter-Wood readers everywhere, I present my pick for Twitter Pic of the Day -- courtesy of Mr. John Stamos.

Writer/director Ron Shelton
Ron Shelton: From the Red Wings to Bull Durham
by Jon Zelazny
Editor’s note: this article first appeared at EightMillionStories.com on December 12, 2008.
I’ve never been a sports fan, but I’ve long considered Bull Durham (1988) one of my favorite movies. And I’m not alone: Bravo ranked it #55 on its list of 100 Funniest Movies, the American Film Institute ranked it #97 on their similar 100 Years—100 Laughs list, and Sports Illustrated called it the #1 Greatest Sports Movie of all time.
I’d always wanted to meet Ron Shelton partly because he spent a portion of his own minor league baseball career playing for my hometown team, the Rochester Red Wings. Their Silver Stadium (1929-1996) was a few blocks northwest of the Polish neighborhood where both of my parents grew up, making the Red Wings a cherished piece of the fabric of the lives of so many of my relatives. »

When we got got word that Bleacher Report posted a "20 Hottest Sports Movie Babes" list, our first thought was, "Wait, are there really 20 movies about female athletes?" Alas, no.
Bleacher Report's list definitely includes some sports-playing actresses/characters, but at least half of it is comprised of women whose role was to seduce male athletes from the sidelines. So, we decided to make our own "10 Hottest Sports Movie Babes" list. At the very least our list includes women in their uniforms. Bleacher Report only included uniform pictures if the women were in bikinis.
10) Tami Maida (Helen Hunt), Quarterback Princess: "What bothers you? That I'm a lady or that I'm a quarterback?"
9) Anne Marie Chadwick (Kate Bosworth), Blue Crush: "I want a girl to be on the cover of Surf magazine. It would be great if that girl were me, but any girl would do."
8) Sara (Julie Stiles), Save the Last Dance: "That's Ok, »

The Windsor Star has a great new article about filming for the Twilight sequel New Moon. Christina Ricci has signed on to star in the porn-themed comedy Born to Be a Star, which Adam Sandler co-wrote and is producing with Jack Giarraputo. Longtime Sandler associates Allen Covert and Barry Bernardi also are producing the flick, which Tom Brady is directing. The story centers on a small-town nerd who stumbles upon a family secret: His quiet and demure parents were famous porn stars in the 1970s. This motivates him to leave Northern Iowa for Hollywood, hoping to follow in their footsteps and fulfill his destiny as the biggest adult-film star in the world. Brady previously wrote and produced the Rob Schneider comedy The Animal and made his directorial debut with Schneider’s The Hot Chick. He also helmed the football spoof flick The Comebacks, which starred David Koechner. Despite Sandler and Giarraputo's involvement, the movie is not a Happy Madison production but rather by Miles Deep Productions. »

I've finally managed to catch "Sugar" thanks to the 5th annual Birds Eye View Film Festival. Following 2007's "Half Nelson". I was very eager to see what the directorial team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck would do next. "Sugar" tells the story of a 20 year old aspiring baseball player from the Dominican and his ambition to become a major league baseball player. On the surface this seems like a conventional sports drama however, as I expected, the filmmakers take an original slant on the genre and breathe new depth in a very formulaic genre. The film becomes less about winning and more about the consequences of not being able to live up to expectations. »
