Still places to go..., 22 May 2006
8/10
Author: Stoatmaster from United Kingdom

The final episode of the series was not so funny as its predecessors, largely because there were a lot of plot strands to be covered or tidied up.

Still good, but more for the drama and character dynamics than the humour.

Interesting how many reversals there were: Mac being too smart alec once too often - and then regaining our sympathy (though not mine) with a really shocking reverse to his fortunes.

Guy not being a total plonker when it came to it.

Boyce looking out for Dr. Statham.

End of another good series. Possibly not quite as good as series 1, but still infinitely better than most televisual pap.
