Unlike a typical episode of "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteu" or "The Cousteau Odyssey", the two-part episodes about the Nile do NOT focus on scuba diving. Instead, it looks more like a traditional travel show in many ways, as Cousteau and his crew travel into the interior of Africa to explore the Nile region. They visit with various local tribes, take footage of fish AFTER they were caught in the cloudy water and placed into a makeshift pool, discuss the danger of the Tsetse Fly and more. It's all very interesting...but as I already said, not typical in style or scope. But this does NOT mean it's not worth seeing....it is well made and you can find the films on YouTube.
