While Jerry Helper is away at a dental convention, Rob breaks a tooth. So, he's forced to see another dentist who not only fixes this tooth but another one. After, Rob feels guilty because he didn't wait for Jerry's return.
This episode is okay. Watchable...but okay. I think the big reason for it is that the plot is too simple and Rob's guilt seems illogical. I also think Dick Van Dyke WAY overdid the broken tooth portion...gunshot wounds don't look THAT painful. Additionally, as he's playing the piano only a moment before, he's not trying very hard to make it look as if he's actually playing. These are not huge problems...but are symptoms of an otherwise mediocre (by "The Dick Van Dyke Show" standards).
