Charlie's rapid success at his new job got him cocky enough to accept a poker invitation from Paul, Stuart and Carter, who ignored he's a former gambling addict, and Paul's asinine taunting drives him over the edge, betting with several bookies more then he can afford. carter's attempt to mount an 'inervention' fails as such, yet inspires Charlie to choose professional excellence himself. The mayor needs a new housekeeper, but Caitlin, who volunteered to help select one, keeps finding absurd excuses to refuse or scare off every suitable candidate.
