Ever since I saw this film, I've been thinking about it. As a committed vegetarian I loved the subject matter, made me think about becoming fully vegan. I thought the central performance by Molly Shannon was fantastic, a truly inspiring film about following your heart, sometimes at a high cost.
The other interesting theme is that of dating, and whether there is truly someone out there for you, or whether, as she does in the film, you should not obsess about finding that significant other and give your life up for something you truly believe in. That part of the film was quite sad, but also uplifting too.
