- A man is seen several times in women's underwear.
- A woman and a man are seen aggressively making out in a car.
- Mulder shows Scully a slideshow of victims, all dead in bed. Nothing private is shown, but the bare backs of two of the victims, the shoulders and above of another, and the chest of one of the men are shown.
- Someone comments about two people having sex, "It must have been some roll in the hay."
- You see a woman and a man together in bed. The woman is wearing a camisole or babydoll, and the man is bare-chested in bed. The woman gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom and then looks at the man. Later, you see her start to take off one of the straps on her lingerie and the camera pans down to her feet, where you see the lingerie fall.
- A man uses Pheromones to incapacitate a young woman so he can have sex with her. She can be heard saying no before becoming weak and collapsing onto the bed where the man climbs on top of her. No nudity is shown. Another man rescues the woman and takes her outside where she is still disoriented and violently sick
- The episode begins in a club with loud music, and you see a dancer inside a cage suspended above the floor, and later, you see her shadow on a wall. You see similar figures later in the episode. The scene is dim, and it's difficult to see what state of dress she is in, but the scene is suggestive.

- A man uses pheromones to confuse a woman then punches her Hard invthe face. She falls to the floor but seems otherwise unharmed
- A man's nose begins to bleed, and he starts foaming and bleeding at the mouth and then dies. When Mulder examines the victim, he sees scratch marks on his skin. Mulder shows Scully a slideshow of victims, and each victim has traces of bloody foam around the mouth and scratches somewhere on their body.

- There's a little jump scare when someone splits a log at the village of the Kindred. Mulder follows the men of the Kindred village down into the cellar of a barn, where he sees a dead man as the villagers cover him with some sort of gel. Later, the man seems to wake up while Mulder is near him.
