Good Egyptian show.

Egypt had never been evoked so far in this series. That's not a usual episode, so far the real villain dies in a premature moment. and the ultimate climax scene reminds me the one of a French movie, starring Jean Paul Belmondo: L'HOMME DE RIO. I won't tell more. Not the best of the whole show, but good. Most violent? Hmmmm, especially for the "smooth" fourth season.

Warning: Spoilers
If I were to show one episode of "The Wild Wild West" to a friend who had never seen it as a perfect example of what it's about, "Night of the Egyptian Queen" would be it.

The MacGuffin: a priceless ruby. Not one but two villains vying against each other. Jim and Artie working against the clock. And a beautiful young woman . . . Who is not quite trustworthy.

Fights, chases, an almost impenetrable disguise by Artie (at least to the other characters; we always see through them). A big climax. And a coda on the end with more than one trick to it.

All "Night of the Egyptian Queen" lacks is Dr. Loveless lurking in the shadows, but you can't have everything. And since it comes toward the end of the last season, it shows "The Wild Wild West" lost none of its charm over the years.
