When Bogg and Cleopatra are in New York on May 21, 1927, someone runs out yelling, "Lucky Lindbergh landed in Paris!" In An Arrow Pointing East (1982), one of Bogg and Jeffrey's assignments would be helping Charles Lindbergh take off from New York.
In 1927 Bogg grinds a half grapefruit into Cleo's face. In one of the most famous scenes of the 1931 film "The Public Enemy" James Cagney grinds a half grapefruit into Mae Clarke's face.
