Larry Fay was the owner of one of the most famous clubs throughout the entire Prohibition Era, the El Fey Club which introduced the queen of the nightclubs, Texas Guinan. He met his end in 1932 at another one of his speakeasy clubs, the Casa Blanca Club when he was shot by a disgruntled doorman who felt wronged that his hours and salary were reduced by 30 percent.
