Two teams are sent via helicopter to assassinate a high-ranking Taliban leader in Afganistan, but that mission is never undertaken. One of the helicopters has engine trouble, is forced to land and then is under heavy attack.Jonas' group, in the other copter, goes back to rescue them, a la "Blackhawk Down."
In one subplot, "Major (Ret.) Ron Cheals" and his wife are back at camp for a dedication ceremony, naming a new range after him. We then find out the disabled veteran has problems with pills and is wife is going to leave him. Hopefully, he'll get off those, be able to take a job he's been offered at the base, and his wife will reconsider.
In a third story, Kim goes job hunting to get some quick credits for college by hoping to land employment at a local radio station. She shows her sales management talent in a strange place and it helps land her the job. That little segment is pretty interesting.
In all, a good episode, although some of the action scenes are not easy to watch as a member of another team bleeds to death. It's pretty gory for TV fare. It's also a bit Rambo-ish with Jonas and his team hitting everyone in sight with their bullets but the opponents never hitting. The same can't be said for team with the downed helicopter but then, those guys aren't regulars on the show.
