When crazed Capt Dula shoves injured Sgt Komansky out of the flying B-17s emergency escape hatch, Komansky is wearing a parachute but no type of head covering. Once pushed out of the aircraft, he is wearing a cloth or leather helmet. (This same clip of a person parachuting out an aircraft was used other times in 12 O'Clock High ).
Major Stovall was never grounded in Season 2 due to poor eyesight. In Season 2's Storm at Twilight (1965), there are questions about his eyesight and he nearly grounds himself, but eventually returns to combat as Colonel Gallagher's co-pilot and brings the aircraft home when Gallagher is wounded, after which Gallagher tells Stovall, "Harvey, when this is all over, you can fly me home!"
In a conversation with Jeanne 'Anne Helm', Sandy appears to call her by her real name, "Annie".
