Very strange indeed, wonderful.

Cleric Mary Truegood is keen to speak to Canon Black, to complain about rodents getting into her kitchen, and causing mayhem, the threat however is much bigger. When Mary gets nowhere with Black, she turns to Strange.

Very probably my favourite episode so far, absolutely loved this one, gruesome, macabre, fast moving and highly entertaining.

Loved that ending, that was so dark, it really did come so far out of leftfield, definitely not the outcome that I had expected.

Somehow the format felt a little bit different to all of the previous episodes, not quite demon discovered through human talisman Kevin, Black tries to stop events, none of that, it did play out very differently.

Almost a plot that could have easily been used in Doctor Who, reminded me a little of The Adipose.

Very strong performances, Imelda Staunton, as always delivers, I thought Richardson was particularly good here.

(There are Spoilers) It's when Reverend Mary Truegood, Imelda Staunton, started to suspect that she and her pet dog Sebastian were being accosted in her home by this unseen demon that she got in touch with her friend defunct Minister John Strange, Richard Coyle, to help her out in combating it. The little devil had been invading Mary's fridge and food cabinets looking for something to eat, it even attacked and badly mauled Sebastian, without finding what it really needed to survive: Human Blood!

As Mary tried to get in touch with her superior in the church Canon Black, Ian Richardson, for help he gave her the "Piccadilly Slip" in his avoidance of anything that has to do with demons among us. He already had enough of that rubbish from his former employee John Strange and didn't need any more of it. As it turned out, at the end of the movie, Canon Black in his reluctance in believing both Strange and Mary was to became a victim of the very thing that he so desperately tried to disprove!

***SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT DOWN*** The demons in this episode of "Strange" are actually disguised as enhancement aids by the real demon who's using them to improved the social and love life of underdeveloped, in very obvious places of their anatomy, young women. It's when one of these women party girl Natalie Cornish, Allison Pargeter, ends up being viciously torn to pieces that it seems to be apparent that it was the work of a animal that escaped from the local Harrison Zoo.

As Strange and his partner head nurse, at the City Hospital, Jude Atkins, Samantha Janus, check out the circumstances of Natalie's as well as other, who had the blood drained out of them, gory deaths it dawns on them that no animal, living or pre-historic, can tear a person apart-from the inside out-like they were. It had to be a demon from hell! And that demon was soon identified by a number of photos that Mary took and that Strange developed the long dormant-for some 500 years-Milan Incubi! A God-forsaken creature that lives exclusively on human blood!

As in most "Strange" episodes it's Nurse Atkins who gets to the bottom and what's the real reason behind these strange deaths but it's her boyfriend John Strange who in the end has to rescue her. In a life and death struggle with the Milan Incubi Strange gives it a taste of it's own medicine, by spraying it with human blood, which has the cuddly and demonic little creatures that it's-The Milan Incubi- been breeding to turn on it for their next, and what turned out to be, last meal!
