Turncoat cavalry officers invade half-way house.
kfo949413 August 2016
Five Cavalry officers are being held at the fort where they will be facing a military court-martial. But before the trial takes place, the five officers escape. During the escape they end up killing two guards which will make all the men face the death penalty when caught.

The group is led by a ruthless man named Ed (Richard Devon). Also along is a drunk, a half-wit, a cautious man and also a young scared kid. They end up at half-way house where they force Zeke to cook for them as they wait for a stagecoach that is suppose to arrive later in the day.

When the stage arrives, with Luke and Simon on board, Ed wants the two to drive them to Canada. When Luke and Simon refuse, Ed decides to shoot Zeke which in turn will make the two drivers change their mind. They leave the house with the officers on board and Zeke on the floor shot.

Again, Richard Devon plays the cold-hearted villain to perfection as his actions will make even the seasoned viewer feel disdain for the character. The story is a typical western tale that has been played out a number of times- but because of the interactions of the characters, this story seemed more fresh than expected. Turned out better imagined.

The Renegades
Prismark1014 September 2022
Luke Perry and Simon Kane find themselves forcibly escorting five cavalry soldiers to Canada after they shoot Zeke and leave him lying for dead.

The soldiers were facing a court martial but they managed to escape.

The leader of the pack is clever but ruthless Ed (Richard Devon.) One of them is a drunk Tom Lochlin (Warren Oates) another is just a young soldier who is in over his head.

Luke and Simon stall for time and wait for an opportunity to turn the tables or for help to arrive.

It is another good opportunity to see an appearance from renowned character actor Warren Oates.

Some of the baddies are reprehensible making Luke and Simon's task even more difficult.
