Ending was too convenient
Before I write this review, I want to share my condolences to the family of actor Gary Collins, who passed away recently, and who solidly played Dr. Michael Rhodes on this underrated, but fine show. Regarding this particular episode, Patty Duke plays an analyst named Elizabeth, who is studying a man named Adam(Robert Foxworth), and he happens to believe he is, or was, the legendary Jack the Ripper; when he plays the harpsichord, even though he has no idea how to actually play the instrument, he transports back to the time of the killer, and does the killing, or so I thought. Percy Rodrigues gives a solid performance as Lt. Woods, and the scenes he shares with Collins are very good. As good as this episode is, the ending left me wanting more, and if what I read about this series is correct, it seems many of the episodes were edited, and I bet this one was also, as it ended way too conveniently. What happens at the conclusion is Dr. Rhdoes telling Adam that he wasn't the killer at all, even though he definitely appears to be, and some women were killed. If you can get past the sloppy editing, this is still an enjoyable episode.
