One of the last episodes to show Steve Austin either killing or being responsible for the deaths of his enemies.
At the beginning of this episode (#1.10), there is stock footage used of a view from a helicopter flying over a coastline and then a facility in boulder-strewn mountains. This facility is the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (formally known as Rocketdyne), sight of Saturn V rocket engine testing and of the United States' worst nuclear accident(s)...
This was the episode which was covered for the GAF 3D viewmaster reels set. As they did with other shows of the time, the company brought their 3D cameras to the sets during production and usually shot the pictures in between takes. Many viewmaster sets have mistakes that creep in to the final pictures. For example, on this episode's reel set, there is a picture with the boom mike visible.
When interrogating Steve after he is captured, Violette attempts to coerce him to talk using a form of neck nerve pinch similar to the famous "Vulcan nerve pinch" used by Vulcans in the Star Trek series. Arlene Martel, who plays Violette, also played T'Pring, a Vulcan, on Star Trek in the episode "Amok Time".
When Oscar is showing slides while briefing Steve on the layout early in the episode, one of the slides actually shows Steve in the picture. This is because it is a still from the actual scene at around 20:42 where Steve is running across the water walkways leading to the facility.
