I saw Private Ear today on social media, and I heard about Shoestring when I was reading about one of my favorite drama series of all time, Midnight Caller. The comments on the internet was that Midnight Caller was similar to Shoestring, so of course my interest was piqued. I've finally got around to watching Shoestring.
Trevor Eve stars as Eddie Shoestring, and Private Ear sets up the storyline on how Shoestring became a DK for Radio West located in the West of England, and I really like the pump-up background music. I also liked the end credits where the names appear in conjunction with their scenes.
