This Sound Can Kill You!
Hitchcoc26 July 2013
I haven't much to say. People die when there seems to be no weaponry. Things are destroyed mysteriously. Agents come in and start to look at research being done to explain this. It turns out that there is a sonic element to this, that the weaponry is actually sound waves. Then, of course, one needs to figure out how this is a danger and what can be done about it. Truman does a nice job with his discussion of sound and its ability to cause physical damage. This is the hight point of a rather lackluster episode. Truman Bradley frequently uses the term, "the theme of our story." There are no real themes, other than man makes discovery, man dies or man is arrested, man must justify his existence or show he's not a spy, and the intruders are tasked with coming up with a solution.
