The 1963 Aston Martin DB5 has chassis number DP/216/1 and is the very first DB5 prototype, and was registered as BMT 216A on May 1st 1963 . It was "Dubonnet Red" and featured in Aston Martin's 1964 sales brochures. After filming "A Noble Sportsman" it was fitted with various gadgets and repainted for Goldfinger (1964). After Goldfinger and Thunderball (1965), the car was sold off and re-registered as 6633PP. Roger Moore used the very same car in 1981 in The Cannonball Run (1981). The car was stolen in 1997 and not recovered.
